Losing Time

When I’m working on something internet-y, I tell Chef it’s only going to take twenty minutes. Then I look up and it’s been an hour and a half.

That’s funny, because sometimes when I say something is going to take an hour and a half, it only takes twenty minutes…

I used to say the same thing to my ex-girlfriend, and so she would set a timer for the amount of time I would claim to need, then show me much I overran that time.
