For about two weeks I’ve been trying to write about the movie “Eastern Promises,” but I’m still aghast over Viggo Mortensen‘s explicit, five-minute long, nude kickboxing match in the Russian bath house.
I would write about how much I liked the film, but I imagine that for many of my readers the nude scene alone will sell the movie.
“Nude” and “Viggo Mortensen”? Yeah, that’s all I needed to know! ;-)
I felt like a bad person for my interest in his nekkidness, considering how violent the scene is.
It’s a terrific film, and the scene works. It’s not quite as perfect a picture as “History of Violence”, but marvelous nonetheless.
Wait, he was naked?
