Why? Because It Doesn’t Make Sense, And That’s Just How I Roll

So I agreed to do a garage sale in the middle of November. Except I have to work on Saturday morning.

So actually, my mother has agreed to do the garage sale for me. At my house. In the middle of November.

Even better, my 60-something-year-old mother, who is due to arrive here tomorrow at about 7am to prepare for my garage sale (at my house) (while I’m at work) (in the middle of November), needs double knee replacement surgery in the spring.

And while my poor, dear old mother braves it in the cold, further damaging her knees by moving heavy boxes of books and movies and vintage furniture, selling my wares (at my house in the middle of November), Chef and Ethan will be sitting inside the warm house, drinking warm beverages, and laughing maniacally at her misfortune.

Damn. You’re mean to your mom. Or, mom is super great and loves you lots, enough to hold your garage sale for you, in November.

    What’s wrong with her knees??

Apparently the cartilage is gone in both knees.
