Ethan celebrated his eighth birthday today with many congratulations. Most important to him is that he has secured a reciprocal crush from a fellow classmate at school, about which we are to say nothing and reveal to no one. So, shhhh.

Happy birthday, E! (I know nothing! Honest!)
I’m almost 20 years older than him, and if I was able to confirm my classmate crush as reciprocated on my birthday I’d be so happy. How did he do it? Was it with a note? Does he think it would work if I wrote a note?
I didn’t have a reciprocal crush until I was more than twice his age.
Is this where I tell the story about the boy in kindergarten that ate a live snail to prove his undying love for me? Tell E it ain’t real until someone consumes a snail!
A kid that had a crush on me in the fifth grade stapled a love note to his forehead to impress me. Three times!
I always kicked the boys I liked in the junk. It’s still the only thing I know about flirting.
THis is OT, but what is up at Feministe? I have been getting “Internal server error” for like a week now whenever I try to read there.
KMT,
I had the same problem - if you take the /blog off the end it works. So it’s just http://www.feministe.us
No goodbye entry?!
I hope you and Chef have a wonderful time on your post-nuptial vacation!
Send pictures!
xoxo
