depends on the situation. church function? tacky. social function w/ no dress code? potentially fabulous. upholstery? eh. take it or leave it.
Tacky. Animal prints almost always are. 99.9% of the time, anyway.
It all depends on the fabric.
Very small print.
Is this for the wedding dress? Or the bridesmaids’ dresses? Cuz for the wedding dress, I think a nice zebra stripe would be more appropriate, don’t you?
Fabulous in small doses, tacky otherwise.
Genius, kactus! I now want to get married just to have a zebra striped wedding dress.
In all seriousness, I think it depends on the item. Tight zebra striped pants? No. Very cool coat to go over a solid colored dress? Yeah, maybe.
NO-O-O-O-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, fabulous!
Honestly, if you’re even asking the question the answer is fabulous.
Fabulous!
True story: My friend Loni’s parents did a lot of missionary work, and just before I met her in kindergarten or 1st grade, they’d come back from somewhere in Africa. They had a real zebra rug in one of the guest bedrooms, with a visible bullet hole.
Um, tacky. I’m not even sure why the question had to be asked in the first place.
Absolutely fabulous if done well. And I know you’ll do it well.
Fabulous because its tacky.
When done with attitude: Fabulous!
Again, I say N-O-O-O-O-O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh. So. Fabulous. Don’t let the naysayers fool you–it’s great stuff.
My most stylish friend prefers pairing camo with pink. The mathematical representation of what Kat said:
(Tacky classic) x a sense of humor = undeniably fabulous
There was to be a plus sign in that equation between tacky and classic, but the intertubes ate it.
All you’ve said thus far is that it is tiny print.
Is it a print handbag, shoes, skirt, dress, or car seat cover? I think that affects whether it will be tacky or fabulous.
You should supply us with a picture.
Never any bigger than a purse. This rule covers all animal prints and renders shoes, belts and purses potentially fabulous.
Even with those restrictions, use with caution.
Zebra print = tacky
Leopard print = fabulous
