		<description>And slow-turners.  It is unbearably maddening to miss your light because someone decides that it takes an entire minute to turn the corner.  Or slow turners not using signals, even!  So you're not only made to slow to a 2 mph crawl, but are surprised by it.  :-D</description>

		<description>how about this:  people in large vehicles who have difficulty seeing pedestrians and therefore assume that they don't exist?  for instance, those that stomp on the gas and turn left through a crosswalk when their light turns green, without looking to see whether someone has started to cross the street?

at such times i am reminded of robin williams in "the world according to garp" and his pedestrian vigilantism - one of my favorite cinematic moments.</description>
