My yard is overrun by birds — cardinals, blue jays, and yellow finches — and they come out to play in the water when I put the sprinkler on the garden, swooping, landing, shaking, divebombing one another, and singing. It’s so lovely.
I got my third severe sunburn on the back of my neck this year while I planted the garden and flowers today. The good news is that the yard looks awesome and I got some unusual perennials in the ground. Pictures to come.

You should knit a width-y light-weight scarf to put around your neck. Make it with lush cotton and it’ll double as a sweat catcher/wiper.
