King of Kings, Lord of Peeps

easter_rainbow.jpg

Easter is the coolest Christian holiday, and not because of the Christian story, per se, although I always liked it in my church-going days because it was a story that offered hope. No, Easter is cool because it allows you to drink Bloody Marys with your family during Easter brunch and then go out and buy a load of candied pagan symbols (on sale!) at the drug store — the better to gorge your children with, my dear. Plus I’ve always liked rabbits.

The most pressing question is, as always, what’s with the peeps’ jacked up eyes?

Pastel colored Peanut M&Ms are the bestest Easter candy. IMHO.

You need to open the package of Peeps and leave them out for about 4 days, then they are nice and stale and ready to be eaten!

I vote for the cream-filled chocolate eggs, when it comes to Easter candy.
