When looking for “tesla” on YouTube, there are more videos of the Tesla coil than there are of the 80’s hair band.

Signs that I’m getting old–I go to your site in one window when it’s already open in another (or whatever the internets terminology is). I do this at least like twice a day.

Well, it’s all that interest generated by David Bowie’s portrayal of Nikola Tesla in “The Prestige.” Kids are crazy for that 19th century magic.

Plus, they’ve purged a lot of videos. And Tesla sucks. I think that my love for them has finally reached the end. I hear the knockin’ outside my door, and I’m aware that it might be love, but piss off!

Actually, Heliologue, Dokken substantially predates Tesla. Oh, wait … you meant something else?

Tesla coils rule! If Nikola was alive today, he’d play one wicked electrical guitar. Some say his was an inspiration to Jimi Hendrix.
