My much-anticipated first graphic novel has yet to arrive and I’m a little worried. And disappointed. What does it take to get a good book around here?

You know that the first time is always disappointing…. (sorry, but someone had to say that, right?)
Speigelman’s Maus is generally considered one of the best graphic novels around. Alan Moore’s Watchmen is also a classic, even among people who are not too fond of superhero comics.
Ok, my comment make little sense when I re-read the post. Must have been tired when I read it the first time, because I read it as a complaint about the graphic novel being disappointing….. Not as a comment about being disappointed because the graphic nvoel hadn’t arrived.
Well, the recommendations still stand.
