I'm happy to hear I inspired your hair. I had a friend who did her own hair and she taught me how not to be afraid of scissors. It's really not as hard as you think. I still go see a stylist every 4-5 months just to clean up my weird long hairs and go crazy with color, but that's only if I have the money and she has the patience to deal with me. Yay!
