I gave up growing out my bangs and cut off an inch tonight. It actually looks better. After four or five years I’m convinced that I can’t go back to one length of hair.
DIY hair it is.

Last year you inspired me to start cutting my own hair. I miss my hairdresser, but I love having the extra $22 every two months. I even take a razer to my bangs to make them fringie.

Yay! I’m happy to hear I inspired your hair. I had a friend who did her own hair and she taught me how not to be afraid of scissors. It’s really not as hard as you think.
I still go see a stylist every 4-5 months just to clean up my weird long hairs and go crazy with color, but that’s only if I have the money and she has the patience to deal with me.
