  I’m taking the ‘stepping down’ as code for “stepping down into the shadows”, meaning he may loose a significant title, but his hands will still be in the pie.

  And we thought Scary John Kerry was bad. Every single time I see a photo of Rumsfeld I see horns on that man’s head.
