Libertarian Feminism

I’m in the middle of reading this fascinating article on the parallels of libertarian and feminist philosophy. Bookmark for me and you.

Charles Johnson, one of the authors of this paper, is the person who created the script and site for feministblogs.org.

Shit, I’ve been meaning to read that one myself. Where did I see that linked before here? Was it LG & M?

So, clearly not that OTHER Charles Johnson, then.

I’ve made it halfway through section 5 thus far; I keep having to stop because my mind’s been blown. Who knew 19th-century libertarians were so cool? Why hasn’t anyone made the parallels between systematic oppression, patriarchy-style, and systematic oppression, statism-style, so explicitly before?

Fun stuff here. Thanks for reminding me it was out there.
