I have the two nerdiest children evah at my house right now. As soon as his playmate came over, Ethan ran to his bookbag and pulled out a doorknob hanger from a bookstore and said, “This is sweet.”
“That’s totally sweet,” his playmate said.
Right now they’re talking about points from some role-playing game I just don’t get.
When I was younger, I always worried that my child would turn out to be something I didn’t or couldn’t understand, usually after I thought some mean thought about another person. This is, I fear, what I get for making fun of LARP.
