100 Things About Me: #3

I’m probably entertaining high hopes, but just once I would like to have a conversation composed entirely of clichés.

I avoid clichés like the plague.

I find that conversations consisting entirely of puns are just as good.

Yes, unless you are having that cliché-ladden conversation with Chris Clarke

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, everyday would be Christmas.

  5. 5 Chris Clarke Sep 21st, 2006 at 5:30 am

    Oh, Maureen, it’s all good.

    Oh, Maureen, it’s all good.

    After that post?

    Oh no you didn’t.

That would be the bomb, Lauren. But the grass is greener on the other side. Once you’ve had “the talk,” I think you may find it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Actually, guys, I’ve been thinking about it and I’m not sure I could handle the pressure. It’s been a long time since I’ve put the intellectual shoulder to the grindstone and I’m afraid it would be like throwing myself to the wolves.

Anyway, in the long run, I appreciate everyone’s comments. Money can’t buy you love, but a blog sure can.

I recall being very impressed sitting next to 2 guys in an Indian Restaurant who held an entire discussion in song lyrics. I wouldn’t even try….
