I had a halfway serious and substantial post on my mind for tonight but I’m afraid this Talk Like a Pirate plugin has completely ruined that.

I don’t think talking like a pirate would take anything away from the seriousness of a post. Legend has it that pirates used to have long, thought out debates over existentialism… and booty.
